Rekordah is 21 year old Luke Owen. Hailing from Bristol but currently studying in London, Luke's music has been pushed into the spotlight of late thanks to support from Starkey, The Blessings, Ikonika, Incyde, Baron Zen, Alex Nut, Mr. Beatnick and a host of other DJs and producers.

His sound is ultimately hard to pin down but contains elements of Madlib/Dilla instrumental hip-hop, freeform jazz and 80s funk, along with incorporating beatless textures and tape music into the mix. Luke co-runs Pollen, a record label and club night out of Bristol. Pollen has played host to many of the key faces of the new instrumental hip-hop sound including Lukid, Mike Slott, Bullion, Lone, Clause Four, Slugabed and many others, and the Pollen record label has just released Brackles and Shortstuff's Broken Harp and has many other exciting releases in the pipeline, including music from Rekordah. Luke has also become in demand as a remixer, re-working Ikonika, Raffertie, Sasquatch and Gouseion amongst others. Watch out for releases on Senseless Records, Seclusiasis, Run Riot, Pollen and many others.
